FOOTLOOSE YOUTH EDITION

Ren and his mother move to a small farming town from Chicago. Ren adjusts to the strict local lifestyle, complete with a ban on dancing put into place by the town's preacher. His daughter Ariel is interested in Ren, but her boyfriend attempts to ruin his reputation and turn the townsfolk against him. They eventually overcome the townsfolk's suspicions, prejudices and misconceptions and perform a heart-rending story celebrating the wisdom of listening to young people and guiding them without judgment. The production includes a combination of new songs for the stage musical and Footloose's Oscar and Tony-nominated Top 40 score.
