Buddy, a young orphan, crawls into Santa's bag and ends up at the North Pole. Raised as an elf, he discovers he is human due to his size and poor toy-making skills. With Santa's blessing, Buddy goes to New York City to find his birth father. There, he faces the reality that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn't believe in Santa. Determined to win over his new family, Buddy helps New York rediscover the true meaning of Christmas.
