All students must be 7 or older and able to read to participate in classes or workshops..
REFUND / CANCELATION POLICY
There are no refunds or exchanges for classes. Please discuss the class and expectations with your child prior to registration.
By registering for a class with a final presentation, you are committing your child to being in that performance.
Lack of attendance is extremely difficult on the class and the instructor as theatre is most definitely a team sport

Full and Half Day Programs
Calling all budding actors! This exciting program will take your child on a fun and creative journey into the world of acting! Through theatre games and exercises, they will explore a variety of stage skills and techniques, improv, movie and theatre scenes, monologues, musical theatre and much much more. They will develop their talent and confidence under the guidance of a professional instructor and have a ton of fun doing it.
Camps are available in 1/2 day or full day format for one or both weeks of Spring Break, March 21 to 25 and/or March 28 to April 1, 2011.
1/2 day (9am to Noon –or- 1pm to 4pm)
$120 /week

Full Day Programs (9am to 4pm)
$235 /week

In this high energy, high participation class you will learn Improv for the stage, as well as using tools that will translate to all aspects of life.
Learn the rules of Improv, and which ones can be broken
Structure a scene for both novice and advanced actors
Cover a variety of open scene and game based formats
In addition you will also:
Advance your ability to think on your feet.
Sharpen your wit and sense of humor.
Learn confidence when meeting new people and addressing large crowds.
Learn how to move a conversation forward in a positive affirming manner, useful in sales.
Use outside the box thinking for problem solving, both on the stage and in everyday life.
Push the boundaries of your comfort zone.
Instructor Mark Reinelt has spent nearly a decade performing Improv on the stage and has spent the last 4 years teaching very well received classes for both children and adults. His Adult Improv class at the Kelowna Actors Studio was listed as one of Okanagan Life magazines 17 skills to learn in the Okanagan Valley. Mark currently performs across the province with the critically acclaimed Improv group “The Art of Delusion”.
